SONORE met à jour ses applications ISO2DSD et DSD2FLAC

Sonore propose depuis des années des solutions logicielles qui rendent plus “user friendly” les passages d’ISO DSD vers du DSF ou DFF (ISO2DSD) ou de DSD vers FLAC (DSD2FLAC). Ces deux derniers logiciels gratuits viennent d’être remis en avant par Sonore via leur espace sponsorisé de Computer Audiophile.

 DSD2FLAC propose des versions pour MAC et Linux. Voici la description du logiciel :

DESCRIPTION
Converts DSD to FLAC or FLAC with DoP Encoding
*This application is provided as-is without warranty or support.

FEATURES
Supports DSD input files in .dsf and .dff formats
Supports DSD64 and DSD128 input rates
Selectable ouput sample rates: 88.2KHz (default), 176.4KHz or 352.8KHz
Selectable bit depth: 16, 20, 24 (default)
Volume scale: -6db to +6db (+4 db default)
Dither: on (default) or off
Optional output mode in DoPFLAC for use by a player that supports FLAC and a DAC that supports DoP input
Transfers stored metadata from the orginal DSD file to the resulting FLAC file
Single title conversion or entire album conversion in a given folder

USAGE
MAC OSX
1. Download the application and open the folder
2. Right click the dsd2flac_gui.jar and select open
Requirements: The dsd2flac file and the dsd2flac_gui.jar file need to be in the same folder, Java needs to me installed, 64 bit OS
LINUX
1. Download the application and open the folder
2. Right click the dsd2flac_gui.jar, select Properties/Permissions, place a check in the Execute box, and press close
3. Right click the dsd2flac_gui.jar slect Open with other application and select Jave
Requirements: The dsd2flac file and the dsd2flac_gui.jar file need to be in the same folder, Java needs to me installed, 64 bit OS

USAGE
MAC OSX
1. Download the application and open the folder
2. Right click the iso2dsd_gui.jar and select open
3. If you can open the iso2dsd_gui.jar file, but can’t execute a convertion use the Mac Terminal application and change to directory with the sacd_extract file in it and run this command: chmod a+x sacd_extract
4. If you can open the iso2dsd_gui.jar file, but can’t execute a convertion replace letters in the file name that have accent or double dots above/below the letter with standard letter.
Requirements: The sacd_extract file, version.txt, and the iso2dsd_gui.jar file need to be in the same folder, Java needs to me installed, 64 bit OS

LINUX
