Requirements 
– SD card reader
– Windows PC or Mac
– SD card flashing software (Etcher). Download from here: https://etcher.balena.io

Process

1. Download the updated XACT OS image file: link to be provided
2. Start Balena Etcher SD card flashing software
3. Insert XACT SD card to the SD card reader (use only the SD card that came with XACT originally!). Ignore the messages from Windows/Mac about the card not being recognized. Do not format the card!
5. Select ‘Flash from file’ and choose the downloaded xactos.img file.
6. Select target and choose XACT SD card.
7. Flash! 
8. Once the flashing process is completed without errors you can install the SD card in XACT.
